Randy Leek (Co-Owner)


Randy was born and raised in
Levittown, NY and attended MacArthur High School.  While at MacArthur, Randy was a member of the 1994 undefeated N.Y. Sate Champs (29-0), and won the Diamond Award the following year.  He earned a business degree from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and was a four-year starter on the baseball team as a pitcher and an outfielder.  He was drafted as a left-handed pitcher in the 18th round of the 1999 amateur baseball draft by the Detroit Tigers.  In his first full season of professional baseball in 2000, Randy was promoted to the highest level of the minor leagues, the AAA level, for one start.  After the 2001 season, Randy was picked up by the Los Angeles Dodgers and played two and a half years in the storied organization.  He was picked up in 2004 by the St. Louis Cardinals, and spent the following two seasons in AA and AAA.  Randy was in Major League Spring Training with the 2006 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals.  He spent the 2007 season with the Long Island Ducks and also played in Taiwan for six weeks.  He was picked up by the Toronto Blue Jays at the end of the season and was assigned to their AAA team.  Randy also played in the Dominican Republic in the winter of 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 with Los Tigres Del LiceySome of Randy’s accomplishments include being a Texas League All-Star in 2005 and an Atlantic League All-Star in 2008 and 2010, starting both Atlantic League games and earning the win in 2010.  In 2009, Randy was named to the Long Island Ducks All-Decade team, and on May 21, 2010 he became the Ducks all time leader in wins, picking up his 33rd career win as a Duck against the Newark Bears.  Randy is still currently pitching with the Long Island Ducks.

Kevin Haverbusch (Co-Owner)


Kevin was born and raised in Massapequa,NY and attended Massapequa High School.  While at Massapequa he was a three sport athlete earning All-State honors in football (quarterback) and All-American honors as a shortsop in baseball.  He then attended the University of Maryland where he started all three seasons before being drafted  as a Junior in the 20th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Kevin won the MVP award in the New York-Penn League his first pro season.  Since then, Kevin has played 13 seasons of pro baseball with the Pittsburgh PiratesBoston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers organizations. He has also played for Team U.S.A. and the Long Island Ducks. In addition to playing Winter Ball in Mexico. During his career he has made the All-Star teams at every level he has played:  Rookie Ball, A, AA, AAA and Atlantic League levels. Kevin has made All-Star teams as a shortstop, 3rd base, 1st base, left field and right field. Kevin has also spent time in Major League Spring Training and the prestigious Arizona Fall League.

Rob Cafiero (Co-Owner)

Rob was also born and raised in Massapequa NY, and attended Massapequa High School.  Rob was a 4 year starter on the Varsity team earning All-County 3 years, MVP of Nassau County 3 times, All-State 2 times and All-American his senior year.  Rob went on to Villanova University and earned his Business Management degree.  While at Villanova, Rob earned All-American honors as a freshman, and went on to set numerous school records.  Most notably Rob holds the record for RBI, games played, doubles, and is in the top five for 5 other offensive categories.  In 2002, after Rob's senior year he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies.  Since then Rob has played 7 years of professional baseball, with the Phillies, PA Road Warriors, and the Long Island Ducks.  In 2008 Rob started his coaching career as the bench coach for the Long Island Ducks.  Rob coached the Westhampton Aviators in the ACBL (college summer league), and led them to win the ACBL championship.  The Aviators were ranked the 24th best college baseball team in the country in the summer of 2009.  Rob again coached in the ACBL in 2010, managing the Southampton Breakers to a playoff berth.

Rob Sandora


Rob grew up in West Babylon and attended West Babylon High School. While at West Babylon ,Rob was a two time League M.V.P. in addition to being voted All -County and All- State. He started he collegiate career at Briarcliff College where he recieved All-American honors. He then went on to play at Stony Brook University where he was voted All-Conference. In 2003, Rob signed a Free Agent contract with the Washington Nationals, where he played until 2008. He was a member of the Long Island Ducks in 2008 and 2009.
